This is the second portrait in my Favorite Dog Breed series. This is the German Shepherd Dog. a favorite dog that is a jack of all trades. This breed is used as service dogs, protection dogs and is a favorite as police and bomb sniffing dogs. They are loyal companions and when brought up appropriately, can be great family dogs.
This portrait was done digitally using an iPad Air 2 and the app ProCreate. This painting is the same as the original German Shepherd Portrait with the addition of the breed name below the portrait and a thin border in a complimentary color to the portrait.

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist. I started out in traditional mediums and mostly worked in colored pencil and charcoal because of the control that you have to achieve the tiny details. Being interested in computers and technology, I have always been fascinated by digital art. I finally was able to get a taste when I got my iPad and found the app ProCreate.
