Purple Pug Painting
This little portrait is of a happy go lucky pug. Pugs are known to be friendly and puppy like throughout their lives. This painting was done digitally on an iPad Air 2 using the app Procreate. I used a purple background to add contrast to the tan color of the pug.

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist. I started out in traditional mediums and mostly worked in colored pencil and charcoal because of the control that you have to achieve the tiny details.
