This is a drawing of the great guitarist, Slash aka Saul Hudson of Guns and Roses. Guns and Roses came onto the late 80's hair metal scene with a bang. While there was still the pop metal of the likes of Poison, Cinderella, Bon Jovi and more, Guns and Roses was a bit grittier and darker in style which made them stand out in the slew of power ballads that dominated the airwaves of the time.

After Guns and Roses went on a hiatus and broke up, Slash tended to his other bands and side projects like Slash's Snake Pit and Velvet Revolver.

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist.
