This painting is a digital zentangle inspired art drawing of a tattoo style rose. This was drawing and colored on my iPad using the apps Procreate and Concepts. The mix of charcoal pencil and colored ink gives a nice vintage feel to the drawing.

Hello, my name is Becky Herrera and I am an artist in the Pacific Northwest. I have been drawing and painting since I was very little and was inspired by and encouraged by my grandfather, who was also an artist. I started out in traditional mediums and mostly worked in colored pencil and charcoal because of the control that you have to achieve the tiny details. Being interested in computers and technology, I have always been fascinated by digital art. I finally was able to get a taste when I got my iPad and found the app ProCreate.
